• Application means the mobile application titled "Speaklu", including all updates and features.
• Company, We, Us, or Our refers to Speaklu.
• Device means any device capable of accessing the Service.
• Service means the Application and any related features, content, and AI-powered functionality.
• User Content means any voice recordings, transcriptions, translations, text, or other content you create or submit through the Service.
• You means the individual accessing or using the Service.

2. Agreement to Terms

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to them.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Speaklu.
• If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be responsible for your use.

4. Translation Accuracy Disclaimer

• Speaklu provides AI-powered translations and is not a substitute for a certified human translator or interpreter.
• All translations and transcriptions are automated approximations and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations.
• Accuracy may vary based on accent, background noise, language pair, and context.
• The Service is not intended for use in legal, medical, emergency, or other high-stakes situations where translation errors could cause harm.
• You should consult qualified human translators for critical or official communications.
• We are not responsible for outcomes based on translations provided by the Service.

5. User Content and License

• By submitting User Content, you represent that you own or have the legal right to submit it.
• You grant Speaklu a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, process, store, and analyze User Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the Service, including AI-based analysis.
• You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, offensive, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Submit illegal, explicit, hateful, or harmful content for translation
• Record or translate the voice of others without their lawful consent
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or impersonate any person
• Attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the Service
• Circumvent security features or access unauthorized systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and In-App Purchases

• Some features of Speaklu may require a paid subscription.
• Payments are processed through the Apple App Store.
• Subscription terms, renewals, and refunds are governed by Apple's policies.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may include integrations or links to third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

• All intellectual property rights in the Service (excluding User Content) belong to Speaklu or its licensors.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

10. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

• The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate.

12. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speaklu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the previous 12 months, or USD $100, whichever is lower.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where prohibited by local consumer protection laws.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
